My name is Jesi Young and I am a Realtor and real estate professional licensed in Hawaii, Minnesota and Wisconsin. I found myself displaced after the Lahaina wildfire in 2023 and have found the Midwest to be my new home. Being given the opportunity to redefine what “home” means to me, even under such disastrous circumstances, has renewed my commitment to helping others in their journey of home ownership and investment opportunities.

Home ownership is simultaneously the largest purchase, most emotional purchase, and most wealth generating activity you can do at the same time. A recent research series by Habitat for Humanity states, “Homeownership promotes wealth building by acting as a forced savings mechanism and through home value appreciation. Using the latest technology, comparables, recently solds and market projections for the area, I can take the guesswork out of estimating the value of your home. Don’t worry! It’s not just a computer program — I review every comp myself to make sure it’s a true comp.

I can especially help you with relocations from other states. I have been blessed to travel much of the mainland since the Lahaina fire and have found comparable regions in the Midwest and beyond for those looking to relocate from California or find mainland housing from Maui.

Wisconsin has some of the nicest people I have ever met! I spent winter exploring the Northwoods and Central Wisconsin, falling in love with the small town of Hurley, WI and purchasing my first solo property in the state. Purchasing power is high in this state still for those looking to relocate from the West Coast or to enjoy seasonal residency. With larger companies moving operations into the state and both presidential candidates offering industry, the Wisconsin market is one to follow. Beyond that, Wisconsin is a beautiful state with over 15,000 lakes and borders Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. See information on homestead credits.

Home base is Minnesota, working with the Keller Williams Premier Realty Lake Minnetonka team. Our team outperforms the market month-over-month. LINK You can see more here. But truly, this group of individuals are leaders in their fields, offering uncompromising white-glove service to the greater Minneapolis region for any and all real estate needs. Minneapolis is a wonderful city, with all the amenities one could need, and more reasonable housing prices than the West Coast. MSP is an international airport with international direct flights and several airlines headquartered here. Large national companies have made Minnesota their home, the likes of Target, Betty Crocker, Spam, General Mills, and 3M. Across the river from Minneapolis is Saint Paul, Minnesota’s capital. I have found a plethora of restaurant options spanning the globe in their representation.
