Jesi offers private yoga sessions for beginners to advanced practitioners. Her focus is on alignment in the body and yoga as therapy, customized for each individual student.
Never practiced yoga? It’s okay, everybody has their first class. If you are intimidated by the thought of wandering into a studio for the first time, try a private session to give you confidence. Beginner private sessions cover basic poses, the language used in classes, and a first practice to get over “being new” to yoga. Once you feel comfortable with the asana (or postures), we can move you into your first class!
“After my first class, a Power Vinyasa class, I left feeling sensations in my body that I had never felt before and instantly fell in love. The goal of coming to the mat is just that, to be you on your mat. You will be your central focus throughout the class. It is never a competition between practitioners. The common reason that people give for not practicing yoga is that they are not flexible. The irony is that yoga can help create flexibility in the body, and the mind. Some yogis start by not being able to touch their toes, and through practice see their bodies become limber and strong. I promise to create a safe space for you to practice.”
