Tomatillo Sauce

Tomatillo Sauce is super easy to make and doesn’t cost a fortune. I use mine for enchiladas, tex-mex soup, and for eating with tortilla chips.

ingredients:

1.

5-6 medium tomatillos, quartered
1/2 white onion
1/2 jalapeno pepper
Spices: cumin, coriander, garlic Salt

2.

1/2 white onion
1/2 Serrano pepper, seeds removed
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed
1/2 bunch cilantro
garlic salt

1.

Take off the outer leaves of tomatillos and wash in cold water.
Cover all ingredients in enough water to cover tops of tomatillos in medium saucepan.Boil until tomatillos are tender.
Remove saucepan from heat, let cool slightly.
Drain 2/3 of the liquid. Pour remaining contents into blender.

2.

Add remaining ingredients into the blender and pulse until an even consistency.
Let cool, then place in large mason jar with lid, or other sealable container, and refrigerate until ready to use.
